Node Port Token Ring View

To access: Click on the Token Ring Port Table button in the Link Station &

Port Information View. This view displays the following information

in the Node Port TR Table.

PortTrName The administratively assigned name for this port (up to 8 characters). Also

the index for the table.

PortTrMac The local Token Ring MAC address.

PortTrSap The local Token Ring SAP address.

Node Port DLC Trace View

To access: Click on the Port DLC Trace Table button in the Link Station and

Port Information View. This view displays the following information

in the Port DLC Trace Table.

TracePortName The port name associated with this trace table entry.

TraceIndex This index value is updated every time a new trace entry is created. It

provides a means to retrieve only the updated entries and also is a simple

method of correlating the entries. The table will wrap when full, which will

result in the previous entries being written over. The management station

can overcome this by retrieving the table using this index to retrieve only the

new table entries.

TraceDlcType The type of DLC interface, distinguished according to the protocol

immediately below this layer.
